What can you buy with your Health FSA money? Here's a list of our favorite items.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are a great way to save money, but the downside is that the money expires at the end of the year. If a grace period is offered, the money expires on March 15 in the following calendar year.
If you have money leftover and you’re unsure what to buy, below is a list of our favorite eligible items that you can stock up on:
Menstrual Care: Yup! Stock up on your tampons, period underwear, pads and more. Menstrual care is a newly added category of eligible items - and it’s a fantastic one!
First Aid Essentials: Any home could use this, especially one that’s filled with children. Use your FSA money to stock up on antibiotic ointment like Neosporin, bandages, alcohol wipes, and even pain relief gel.
Maternity and Prenatal Care: An often missed opportunity, but did you know that you can use your Health FSA money to purchase prenatal vitamins, a fertility tracker, even C-Section recovery items? Great news for the mamas out there!
Facial Care: Easy items to stock up on that you’ll definitely use. We’re talkin’ cleansing wipes, acne treatments, sunscreen, Aveeno moisturizer, Vitamin C serum and more!
Diabetes Care: You can stock up on blood glucose strips or even get yourself a Bluetooth glucose meter.
Vitamins and Supplements: Get the essential for the whole family including Pedialyte and Omega 3s!
